Valley of decision

Per day each individual makes 2000 decisions. We get 2000 opportunity to make decision per day.

If you allow Jesus to be the master of your house, when devil knocks the door Jesus will answer the door. Now Jesus will deal with the devil. He will deal with the problems. He will deal with your bills; he will deal with your worries and anxieties. Jesus can handle it better. Any situation that I have encountered and that I tried to do it on my own strength was a failure. The moment I allowed Jesus to handle it, He always succeeded.

When you go through a time of decision making you must know who you are in Christ. Who you are? All of us have father and mother, you did not choose to be born in that family, but God decided that you will be born in that family. Praise God that He did not make mistake.

Later on your life when you experience your walk with Jesus, you will be grateful for being where you are. If your earthly parents have failed you, Heavenly Father will never. He used that mother and father to bring you to this planet but the purpose was for Him.

You are here on this planet to fulfill God’s purpose. You know many times you have done things which made your heart grieve. You just felt like, “I just don’t enjoy, I wish I could do something else that would give me joy”

Perhaps somewhere you are not doing what God has called you to do. All I want today, for you is to understand who you are. You are made in God’s image, designed for His purpose. The moment you understand that, you will enjoy who you are. To make it simple, I will tell you my story.

I was very sad all the time that I was not tall. I wanted to be 6ft tall. But I didn’t grow beyond 2” or 5’3”.

I used to search for high healed foot wear. Since 8^th grade I have not used flat slippers, because I wanted to look taller. We hold on to things like plastic or wood to look tall. We try to add on worthless things to our lives so that we will look good. So that we can look cool!

That is the new language.. I am learning! J

I decided to quit wearing suit for sometimes because my husband looks good and I wanted to match up. When I used to be slim he will always ask me to wear trousers but, when he was in the US, I bought Jeans to look cool so that when I go to the airport that I will look cool.

Is this make-over suiting you?

When we go through the Valley of Decision, and if we don’t know who we are in Jesus, we will always try to become someone else. Just imagine if I was taller than Alen, it wouldn’t have looked good. Now we look good together, because God knew before hand whom I will marry.

Alen says; don’t talk so much about me! Then we fight after that! The day we focus on each other, many times we disappoint on each other. But when we look at Jesus we will never be disappointed.

The key to successful marriage is to look at your partner through eyes of Jesus. Any relationship if we don’t look at the other person through the eyes of Jesus, we will get disappointed. If I have sowed wrong seeds by criticizing and judging someone, God shows me through His eyes how He looks at a person.

All my elders whom I really was sad about, one day I was convicted that I was not doing right, I went and asked forgiveness to them. We have to stand in the presence of God once.

Look through the eyes of Jesus, He will give you spiritual sight that you will be able to see beyond. But I have so many things to share with you. I read so many versions of Bible, and every time I read a verse; I get new revelation. I find it so new, so much of learning that we have to do. If you are a good student, you will really do well in life. Always try to learn from your circumstances, setbacks that you had in life. You know, always ask God for anything that He is teaching you? And you will learn from situation. Like we had a subject in Sanskrit, about Chanakya. How he learnt from the creation of the universe. He would learn patience from earth, perseverance from ant, he will learn from breeze not to hold on to anything that perishes. Have you learnt that?

Air is something that would never hold on to anything negative. But it passes through perfume it spreads fragrance. I was taught in childhood, always have nice company. Whenever I had wrong company I was in trouble.

I am going to show you a video. I believe God is going to speak to you... Find what is that you are good at. Perhaps I cannot clean the floor like someone else, or someone else cannot talk the way I do. After coming to Christ I had to learn to tame my tongue not to speak anything and everything every time. I am training the tongue, but tough talk comes naturally.

One of you can cook like hotel food, somebody can keep house clean, someone can drive around and pick and drop people, others can read, it comes naturally to you. When you watch this, check what you are good at? I want to tell you later, from the Bible, how we can decide to do right.

Before we move to the second and third video, you saw in this video that this person has no arms or legs. Do you know he is a motivational speaker! Motivating people to live! After watching this video, I cried before God and said sorry, I am so sorry for complaining the way you created me. That day onwards I never complained how I looked. Because I have hands, I can play guitar, I can drive. He has given me legs I can move, he has given me eyes to see...  

Just imagine someone with no limbs; he should have died long back. He travels all over the world to motivate others to live.

Just like me, if you have ever complained ever about how you were made, ask sorry, ask forgiveness to God.

Sometimes the smallest things can teach us big things. This doctor doc was not satisfied with his profession. He actually wanted to dance. Because he was very fat, he thought people will not like him, accept him.

Many times we try to fit into shoes that are not our size. Think about something that you are very good at. That is where God is going to use you. We all are called and challenged to preach the gospel. All of us have a mandate, to speak about Jesus. Because our lives changed through Him. If we don’t speak, nothing will happen, but if we keep it to ourselves, we call it selfish.

When you receive deliverance, freedom in life, you cannot keep it to yourself. I just remember the way I used to live before knowing Jesus, the darkness was so dark. Once you are seated in light, you cannot live in dark anymore. If you pass through someone’s house where it is dark, wouldn’t you suggest lighting a candle? Just like that we can give others light. Man is by birth selfish. We love to be satisfied by who we are. We want to be I, me and myself. Just imagine if Jesus would have thought like that!

Bible says He was so filled with joy, He saw the final product of you and me; and He endured the cross. It was not easy to bleed and die. But He endured that pain so that He came to set people free. All that you have gone through in your life, I want to tell you that God can turn around the same things, and make you a blessing for others. All my pain makes me compassionate today; I cannot take people for granted.

Whatever you have gone through, God can turn around it and make it a blessing for you. We make 2000 decisions each day. If you don’t know who you are in Christ and what you need to do, we will end up making so many mistakes. We are not satisfied with ourselves. We find fault with every one else. My friends if you and I will be satisfied by who we are, we will really spread joy; we will bless others; we will be able to stand by someone who is in need; we will no longer live like ‘I, me, myself’.

If you want to be happy in life, find someone who is in trouble and help. I have noticed again and again, I feel so great, and God takes care of me. Never miss an opportunity to do good to somebody. Just like last week I talked about covetousness and contentment, when we have Jesus we are so content. Imagine someone with no limbs, that person is preaching and encouraging people to live!

Somebody who doesn’t have a leg decides to dance and he dances. We are created in God’s image and we can do anything. Do you know that when you decide to do right, no one can stop you?

If you are struggling with past decisions, its because you decided to do so. Nobody enforced you to do wrong. And you have full right to do right. Because bible says: you no longer belong to darkness you belong to light. Nothing that is in the world can pursue you to do wrong. It’s your decision..

Coming back to 1Samuel: 30 where David destroys the Amalakites. I will quickly tell you the story. After some war that David had, he comes back home. And he finds that all the children and wives and things are gone and houses are burnt out. Enemy has burned whole village and taken every thing that was alive.

Story I am telling you from 1Samuel:30. True story.

David comes back and weeps till the time he gets exhausted. Verse 6 says all the people who were with David wanted to stone David because wives and children were burnt. They forgot that David was also with them when the raid happened, but they wanted to stone him.

Verse 7, David asks the priest, “Tell me the will of God” Verse 8 says: “Shall I chase them, shall I go after them?” Lord replies: “Yes, you can go after then, you will win”

He leaves with 600 men to get everything back, but 200 of them were tired and quit on the way. And they just decided not to go. So 400 people marched towards the enemy, they find an Egyptian, who did not have food for 3days. They give them some good food and the person comes back to strength. David asks him who he was and what he was doing there. He replies: “I am an Egyptian, slave of an Amalakites. My master left me because I was sick. We were returning back raiding the Keratiatis, in the territory of Judah. Then David says: “Will you lead me to them?” He says: “If you swear by God’s name that you would not kill me nor hand me back to master”. So David assures him. Through this man David goes back, and he defeats the enemy and gets everything back that was taken.

I want to tell you from this story what I learned. We are like David, you and me. This person is like Jesus who was abandoned for 3 days. Just like you and me came one day to Jesus, David comes to him. He leads us to Father to get all that we have lost.

Why am I telling you this story? I learned from this story. If you because of wrong decisions or circumstances lost everything in your life, today is your day to come to Jesus. He can lead you to a life everlasting. It is now, He is risen! He has risen from dead!

Ephesians 2:6 says “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus”

You have done many wrong things, you did things that you cannot speak to anyone, you know it was wrong decisions, you know it in your heart. May be something really serious you have done you cannot express anyone. Jesus is your high priest of you confession.

1John 1:9 “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness”

Isaiah 43:25 "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more”

Anything that you are not able to confess to anyone, today this very moment confess to Jesus. The moment you come to Jesus life will change. You will receive everything that you have lost .

If you have lost relationships, God can restore you with new relationship, you have lost your money, years, childhood... He is going to make the rest of your life beautiful and you are going to enjoy your life.

Because by faith you are saved, and not by words. By faith you confess sins believing He forgives you. He is never going to condemn you. And when you are free from your past, and recover form it, you will be able to identify yourself with Christ and can live a joyful life.

Can you run ahead looking behind? We cannot. I request you to leave your past here in this place. And start afresh this very moment.

Faith talks the end results. Because you have trusted in God, you have repented and turn to Jesus, it talks about your end by faith. Just like the new birth, you can receive finance, healing, breakthrough. Just simply by faith. Just like you were born again by calling Jesus in, it is as easy as that.

It is just about your faith. The moment your faith rises, you receive everything that you ask for. One thing that Joyce Mayer says, I like few years when I heard: “if God doesn’t want it, I don’t want it” If God doesn’t want something in your life, you will never be satisfied by it. With Jesus you will never have to push open a door, the door will be opened automatically. You just stand strong in Him and He will open the door for you. When you hear the Word of God, hear it, receive it and act upon it. So that you can live in freedom.

Because, heaven waits for one believer who can take things by faith. Kenneth Copeland says, money is not the highest authority in this planet. Highest authority in this planet is prayer. You can take anything to Jesus in prayer, any subject.

I want you to know that the moment you settle your account with God, you will over power Satan. You will stand strong for Jesus. Jesus says, when the person came with son who was demon possessed, he says ‘can you heal him?” Jesus says: “I can, everything is possible for one who believe”

What do you belief in? Do you believe in Jesus? Do you believe He is the highest person of this earth? If He stands with you, who can be against you? If you walk in His will, who can distract you?

You will never fear men; never fear anything that is happening in this world. Bible says: “A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you”. People say: “I can’t come to Jesus, coz I need to quit sin” No, He accepts you the way you are. If you don’t leave your life of sin, He is not stopped. It will only stop your blessing. Why can’t you compromise small things for such a loving God? Because my fellowship with Jesus is so precious to me, that I don’t sin. He wont beat me up if I sin, but He is so precious to me.

It is so beautiful to walk with Jesus. He satisfies like no one else can. He will give you the satisfaction of a father, of a mother, great love of a brother, he can love you more than like a lover. You will get everything. Like one stop shop for you. Now days we go to malls because we buy everything from one place. We just go to big bazaar to buy everything. Now we want convenient. Convenient shopping! Jesus is one stop shop; He will give everything you want. If I am speaking to you, that means I must have experienced it.

Why don’t you try Jesus? You have tried so many other things, why not try Jesus. Fight a good fight of faith. We fight with so many things, girlfriends, husbands, this, that! Why can’t we fight a good fight of faith? Lets fight for our faith. Amen!

The time that you spend in the presence of God, you will get eternal reward for that!

The Disciples were worried about food!.. All of them went to get food!

We must turn to the left or to the right. For God know everything. Faith means to completely relying upon God and always be hopeful for him to show when we need him. But our ky to success lies in our accuracy to obey and do exactly what he says.

One way to do the same is meditate on the wordof God and at the time of crisis or pressure we will automatically choose to the will of God. The word would be deep in our heart and out of the heart flows the issues of life

Its is important not to forget - where we came from. Our past will always keep us grateful before the Lord. We will also be able to be compassionate towards the sinners and the people who are not able to realize their iniquity.

We see two examples from the Bible- David & Saul

DAVIDWhen David sinned against the Lord by committing adultery with Bathsheba. The Lord through the prophet Nathan rebuked and reminded David how He had picked David up from the sheep pen and made him King over Israel Reference-2 Samuel 12

SAUL Also when Saul was rejected by the Lord. The Lord reminded fhim of his past we he as humble and did not have a high opinion of himself.

1 Samuel15:17 Samuel said, "Although you were once small in your own eyes, did you not become the head of the tribes of Israel? The LORD anointed you king over Israel.

May the Lord alwys remember his mercy upon us. As he has given Jesus for us, to make us a powerful intrument to bless others save and change thers and remain successful tll the end.

When Saul preferred partial obedience, he actually forsook his success as a king. When Saul preferred to shift the blame to the people  it did not help him but defiled Spiritual laws. We must take responsibility for our action. We must stay aware if we want success, we must obey Gods voice

When we remember our past, all the thing we did or that happened to us , the memories  bring in feelings of shame, guilt and hurt. But the Lord promises us peace and says it the time for redemption and no humiliation!  We must hold on to his promise of redemption.

Isaiah 54:10 (New International Version)

       and the hills be removed, 
       yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken 
       nor my covenant of peace be removed," 
       says the LORD, who has compassion on you

He will remember our covenant of peace! He will have mercy on us! Whenever in doubt or we feel that things are not working out. Remember Gods promise!
